I should add, the water in Rio Rancho is so good, that it is bottled and sold in Albuquerque as bottled water. Just as an aside: I used to be an environmental chemist in a major lab. I have personally tested the local water in the lab and found it to be very good. Very good, well maintained, dirt roads lead to the parcel. The highest bidder will own this parcel of land. One seller on eBay recently got $14,000 for a 1/2 acre parcel in Unit 26 with financing. Unit 26 is way out in the boonies. Our Unit 1 lot is much closer to civilization.
